Roberto Kusterle

After looking at Dave McKean, I noticed some of his work involved animals and human faces such as this piece of work from his series "Cages."

I then decided to look for other photographers or artist who used the idea of manipulating animals and humans. I then came across Roberto Kusterle, an Italian photographer, and was very intrigued by his work. It relates very well with the coursework theme of Dreamworld, as they are very surreal images. I mainly focused on his series of work called "Riti Del Corpo".
The human figures seem to look like they are in pain or suffering as they have animal-like patterns and textures on their skin.

More of Roberto Kusterle's work on the "Riti del corpo" series can be found here. http://www.robertokusterle.it/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=410
